Integra Sunroof..??

Ok...so i came up with the greeat idea of trying to put an Integra Sunroof or Moonroof(iono what's the diff) on my accord..cuz i want my shit to pop up and when it goes back..i want it like the 95-01 integras..u know their's pop up, and then they go back..cuz mines is koo...but sometimes i just want it to pop up cuz i dunno..i just like the look of it..so i was just wondering if somebody has done it before??...or if i swap it, will it fit, is it the same size or do i have to cut a bigger hole, and is it a DIY or do i have to get it Profesionally instaled??.. ..well..let me know..thnx you guy's!!

My after market power sunroof pops up, or opens, and slides into the roof... but neither one of those options help answer your question...

if you don't know what you're doing, have a shop do it...i wouldn't want a DIY sunroof.

Well I am not sure, but I am pretty sure that an Integra Sunroof is curved in places that a CB sunroof isn't, but I could be Horribly wrong.

Im not so sure about the teg ones.

I mean with a wad of cash one could about do anything.

If your not experienced with metal work and custom fab work i WOULD NOT attempt this on your own as if you fux it up your roof will leak.

Hit up a shop and see how much they want for it.

But it might be easier to pull a complete sunroof from a junked cb and have a shop put it on as they were designed for our roofs.

Pull one at a junkyard and see if the size matches up. If it's the same size (unlikely) then you could probably just swap em out.

My GTP has a sunroof that does that. I hate it! I'd rather have one that goes into the roof. The "spoiler type" are very noisy, and just asking to be shattered by a flying rock!

thats a very popular trend in puerto rico, guys slapping civic and integra sliding sunroofs on all types of cars, but i don't really know if hardcore mods are needed. anyways goodluck

Yeah...i gotta find a Teggy to snatch the sunroof out...and yeah...ima go to a shop and ask...and if it's not too expensive...ill swap it out..cuz i think those are dope as hell..plus..like i said...sometimes i dont wanna open it..i just wanna pop it up..but i cant..so yeah..thnx guys...!!

yes it could be done i had thought of it a while back i have a 90 interga ls sunroof and spoke to the body shop already

u'll need the whole set up and the remote(switch too)

this was in discussion a while back, doesnt the acura CL sunroof pop up? and it should be a much closer match/shape than the integra one would.

Oh really..??..the CL sunroof is a way better match than the Teggy one?...hhmmm..ima have to look into that...but the thing is..isn't a teggy sunroof easier to get than a CL one??..i dunno..well..where can i get one?..and what yr has the CL have to be?
