ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I think my CB7 is wierd

ok I have a 1992 Honda accord DX sedan. Now I think this is the lowest grade that accords where made in "correct me if im wrong". I noticed that I have no passenger side view mirrior and I have no rear speakers either. And on the steering wheel there is a huge un used space where on most cb's I see controlls of some type. My friend has a nice littel arm rest and even a pop out cup holder. whats the deal ???? The guy I bought it from said it came like this. its like I have to piece the puzzle together and find all these parts to add to my cb7. Has any one else seen or had the features that im listing here???

You are right. The DX was the base trim.

It's possible that all the things you have mentioned (passenger side mirror, cruise, rear speakers, arm rest, cup holder) were only available as options to the DX.

The airbags were mandatory. If they could cut that out, they would

I had a DX that was almost as stripped down. I had rear speakers, but that was it. It was the first one I had ever seen with no passenger side mirror.

DX is the lowest US model. The same thing is called LX in Canada.

Also, in other countries, there were 2.0L and 1.8L engines available for CB Accords... some were carbureted. Our DX isn't so shabby when you think of a small 1.8L SOHC carbureted engine in a car like this!

no clock, no cruise, no defroster, no speakers, no tape deck, VERY VERY base. it was crazy, my cheap grandma was the one who bought it. we added most features on our own... stick-on clock, Jensen rear speaker pods, and a roll-on rear defroster i DID have a passenger mirror tho...
