Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

4dr mirrors on a Coupe?

    4dr mirrors on a Coupe?

    I just ordered some M3 style mirrors to replace my non-existant mirrors and they came in yesterday. The holes don't even come close to lining up, I checked the auction and it says 4dr. Is this another one of those parts that they only make for the damned 4dr model? It's crazy, the Coupe is the sporty one and it seems that everything is for the 4dr.
    I read somewhere that marijuana effects the memory. For some reason I can't seem remember where I read that. -- max sideburn(aka torqstr)

    yep. sucks right? you could try redrilling the holes in the door to match up with the sedan mirrors...

      figures, lol. I FINALLY get a car that has lots of aftermarket support......and it's all for the 4 door! I just finally escaped 4 door exile and got into this coupe. Seems like I can just never get a car that has all what I want available for it.

      As for re-drilling I would......but even then they look funny, like they don't fill out the entire space like they should. Does anyone have any pics of those eBay M3 mirrors installed on a 4dr so I can have a basis for comparison?

        I bought them a while back but I got into a bit of an accident and the right side mirror was basically left dangling off the base. I didn't like them anyway since they weren't power mirrors and they were a bit small and I couldn't really see much behind me compared to the stock mirrors. Anyway I know that doesn't help but I hope you get that problem resolved.
