Hey guys, I finally got around to replacing my front grille for my CB7. I got a brand new Honda "H" Emblem with the grille and it has the little adhesive patch on the back of it.. and it doesn't seem like it's going to stay on there very well... I'm not sure what to do?? That little "H" costed me $25 so I don't feel like driving down the highway and watching it fly off because it didn't stick so well. I was wondering if you might suggest any kind of glue or something to make sure that sucker isn't going anywhere. Thanks!

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

gorilla glue will hold it till the end of time, but it foams up and expands a lot... so dont use a lot, and clamp it in to make sure it doesnt lift off of the grille at all before it hardens.
may also want to try epoxy or JB weld, both are very strong (both are the same... lol)

Alright I am finished putting the gorilla glue on my grille. I didn't take the grille off or anything so I just dripped it on there and spread it around with a paper towel.
Like the bottle said, and most of you guys, I didn't use too much. So I used a vice grip to hold it on there. The hood is up obviously since I can't close it with the vice grip on there so it should be good by the time I get up for work in the morning. Thanks again for the advice, I'll give everyone a heads up to see if it worked or if it failed.Last edited by CaPt Nimda; 07-11-2006, 01:04 AM.
