ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Custom Taillight Idea - Pics inside :D

I was going to post in Appearance but I dont have enought posts to go out of beginner yet :P

Anyway. I got bored and thought I would come up with some idea's to make the tail lights look a little cleaner IMO. I did 2 chops. I like the first one better. Opinions and comments welcome.

hmm pretty cool idea, looks like the new civic tails. only issue is that if you paint it, you wont get that thin black line around the outside of it, like there is around the tail lights... itll just be a red patch on the plastic tail lights. youd hve to either paint the black line on, or use black pinstriping. make it look like the red patch is separate from the tail light.

i wonder how you would actually do the second pic. if you mould it like that, youll never be able to remove the tail light... so if you want that, youd actually have to cut the tail light down, seal it, and mould in a piece into the trunk lid... and if you were going to do that, id say mould the gaps around the license plate frame.

      looks pretty cool though.

Thanks for the comment. Yea that black line would take a bit of messing around with to get it too look right. Im going to do another photoshop of the idea you had with taking the lines out of the plate frame.

Here is a before and after pic so you can see the difference it makes.

I think I may actually attempt this when I get the car painted this month. Maybe even sooner. If I do i'll have to post a DIY with some pics!

I agree, it's extra clean. Did you paint your wheels already, or is that shop?

Will work for food, car parts, or three stripe apparel. And not necessarily in that order

The molded plate makes it look a lot better. I think it's a pretty cool idea.
