ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Front Bumper Wont Fit

    Man,

I bought an OEM bumper off of eBay. Took 2 weeks to come in. Then, when I finally go to install the damn thing, it wont fit.

I looked underneath my car and it looks like the person who had it b4 me got into an Accident. I should have known better because the reason why I bought a new bumper is because my bumper is a lil messed up.

My friends tell me that I have "H.B.S" Hanging Bumper Syndrome

When you look under the front of the car (front right driver side) all that metal is preventing the bumper from sliding on. Frame damage (???)

So I figured, if I cut up that "bottom lip", you know, that peice at the bottom of the back of the bumper that you need those little clips to hold up?. I figured that If I cut that off (all the way around), it should fit right?

I dont want to mess up the new bumper so I wanna ask b4 I do it.
And for those of you who are wondering why I dont return it.

    1) Returning a bumper is a bitch and I have to pay for the shipping.
    2) I bought it over 3 months ago, I wanted to wait until my swap was done to put the bumper on, The swap is done lol

    Thanks for your time,
    -Lam

The cars in the shop gettin the Brembo Drilled/ Slotted rotors put on with new pads.

I realized I needed new breaks when I was doin about 115 and the light turned red...lol...I slid halfway into the intersection. Thank god for my loud Exhaust, so those people stopped b/c they knew I was comin and I couldnt stop.

Anywho, I will steal...I mean borrow some pics off of eBay now and then use "Paint" to show you what I mean.

      Gimme a few minutes,

looks like its in great condish. to me. i dont think you need to cut yet. try to figure out where the holes meet and try again to skreww it on. u said its oem right? doesnt make sense why it would nt fit. i know some companys claim to have oem but actually not an oem.well let us kno how it turns out.

the bumper he bought is definitly not OEM. thats probably the first problem, aside from the accident damage

If you pull it down so that it goes over the metal on the bottom, you will have a very very hard time trying to make the top stay where it should stay.

I had 2 of my buddies help me try and put the damn thing on but its way too tight. if you get the top to stay on, its like the Bumper Support Bar/Beam is stoping it from going on any further.

If you try slipping the bottom on first, you will never be able to get the top on. I will try and take actual pics of it when I can and then Bump the post so I can get further help. But for now, The old one will have to do

                  Thanks guys,
