ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    91 SE Seatcovers

    Hey all
I really want the black leather seats from the Se in my car but they are to hard to find in decent condition. Does anyone know of a good seat cover company? They dont have to be leather. I just want that black leather look for a good price

    Thanks

Proper upholstery work is not cheap. It's labour intensive to manufacture and install the covers, especially when custom made.

I've seen a few slip fit covers that are modelled to look OEM and they were quite good.

Companies like Katzkin and Iggies (sp?) make some quality covers for quite reasonable prices.

Expect to spend at least $1000 to have all the seats reupholstered in leather. However, it really is the only way to get perfect leather in a CB7, as the 20+ year old seats in the SEs are all quite worn by now, even the best of them.

Katzkin used to make covers for the CB7, but I don't believe they still do. Might be worth a call...

AAPOQ, that link is not at all what the OP is looking for, but the fact that you posted it kept me from banning you for a week. If "Google it" was all you had to say, you'd be on vacation right now.

If you plan to keep the car, and you're fixing it up, honestly, it's worth the money to have nice seats and interior in your car. It's where you spend all your time when you're driving it.

However, nothing beats the bargain JY finds when you find really clean seats, like in the case of the Prelude seats in my coupe.

My swap was from a SE and I was lucky to only have the middle stiching on my drivers seat and a pinky size slit in the front side close to the shifter . I baby my leather with only some skimms and scratches but me to repair looks like atleast 250 becouse they have to re do the entire bottom
PArt something i can't afford right now. I like the cloth feel but the look and touch of leather its a personal pref

I found a pair of red DC2 ITR seats on kijiji the other night for $600. 1 of 250 sets made for Canada.

I was like OMFG WANT NAO.

But if you want to stay with CB seats, you'll need to cover or reupholster.

There are many front seats that will fit, but making the rears match is another battle, unless you go custom, which again, is money.
