ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Sounds like your bumper cover retaining screws might be broke in the center., Do the headlights and grille line up with each other? I can't tell from the photos.

post a picture of the whole bumper, If you have a 92-93 bumper on a 90-91 then that will make a gap.
Read the rules, it will show you how to post pictures.

But check the main support nuts to see if they are tight, they are in the engine bay behing the headlights. One on each side and they are 12mm nuts

and when you post pics use the little "Insert Image" button

u can use some bumper clips to properly hold it in place and i that the right grille for it because if its the wrong grill it could make the gap even worst even though ur bumper looks like its in crtical condition

It's the original grille on it. I never changed it.. Unless the previous owners but judging on the condition I got it in. They didn't care for the car

Something is just bent funny,I can't really tell why this happened. The lights and grilled look fine. I would take the bumper off and inspect.

Sorry for bringing up this thread back . But I finally going for fixing my whole bumper and getting it painted. I tried figuring out the gap and this is what I see in between.
Its a crack. Is this the bumper support I looked up picture but when u take off the bumper there is nothing still on.

That might be the actual bumper. What most people call the bumper is actually just a plastic face that goes over it for cosmetic reasons. It has no impact resistance as far as crash saftey is concerned. When you remove yoru bumper the front face comes with it so most assume they are the same piece, in fact the plastic face is attached to the actual bumper and the two pieces can be seperated. Our bumper is a fiberglass reinforced plastic, light but still pretty tough. If it is crakced in the middle it will sag, since the whole thing is supported at either ends, but not in the center. It should be replaced if not to fix the issue you have, then to at least make your bumper safe. A bumper already cracked can not due its job at absorbing and distributing impact loads properly.
