Okay so i have rust around my wind shield and where the spoiler connects to the trunk. both are causing leaks and id accept any help on this crazy issue because decent 5 speed cb's are hard to come by around my area be cause of the constant wet weather. Ill post pics as soon as i get a camera(some time this evening).

Sounds like you have a decision to make.
Try to fix it, or scrap it.

Cost about $600-1000 to propertly fix it.... your best is to find a better no rust shell to begin with.Comment

Im thinking im just gonna get a new trunk.....
thats the windshield. the top rust leaks. the side is just there. My windshield is cracked and will be soon replaced. could i get away with repairing it while its out?
as far as fender rust, its easily than repairable.Comment

From looking at the pic above it dont look too bad... get it fix before getting a new windshield.
A rusty CB with only the quarter panels rust is much easier to repair then the shieldshield rust...because you dont have to take out the glass.Comment
