Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    cracked bumper

    Well long story short, I dozed off for a second(woops) and drifted a little, hit a wooden reflector thing, and got a crack on my bumper. Is there anyway to fix a crack on a bumper?

    nope, just go to the pick and pull and find a color similar to yours. You're gonna need a new bumper, if its cracked, its cracked, unless you bondo it, but I'm not sure you know how to do that.

      Haha yeah I don't even know what that means so I guess I gotta pay a visit to a junkyard. Can't seem to find any pick and pull ones around here though

        You could get a propane torch on really low heat and a putty knife (unless you have a plastic welder) bond it together sand rough spots down and fill the low spots with body filler

            yeah thanks for the suggestions and I'll probably hit up a junk yard since I don't really have those tools or materials at my disposal and its just too much work to fix a crack

              Fiberglass Repair

              I'd do fiberglass repair on the back side, that tigerglass stuff(basicly bondo with fibers) or whatever it's called on the front side and then repaint. Do you know how to repair stuff with fiberglass?

                  fiberglassing is a much more difficult process than melting plastic back together, so i doubt it would be worth it. plus it doesnt have any give like the original plastic, and would probably crack very soon.

                    Good point, it is more difficult if you've never done it. way to much crap to buy and clean up. I'd take the junkyard route. Someday i should post up a DIY on fiberglass repair. After I get my Airframe Mechanics Liscence maybe.

                      yeah so JY it is,anybody know any pick and pull JYs in New York, preferably close to the Long Island area? and u definitely should make a DIY on that dude, the more DIYs the better
