ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Accord front lip on a Vigor...pics inside!

I know I don't have an Accord, but I brought this up a while back about putting an Accord front lip on my Vigor. Well, I did it and here is what I have to say about it.

I have a 92 Vigor GS. Didn't want to have the poor, pathetic excuse of a lip (see picture below) that comes on the Vigor. I wanted something more aggressive, bigger, etc. So I said hey...why not go with a CD5 (94-97 Accord) lip?? Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the process to get the CD5 lip to fit, but I do have pictures of the end results. The lip was too long so it hit the wheels and protruded from the front, so I had to dremel the ends off. Some other dremeling here and there. Nothing with the width though....width is perfect. There were some fitment issues - ie: I put in two bolts in the front middle of the lip to hold it to the bumper and the amount of space you have to work with under there is very limited. Pair of vice grips to put the bolt through the top while you fasten a nut from below, etc. etc. And 6 self tapping screws were used. End result is satisfying but I'm probably going to go back in a few days and clean it up some....started to rain on me so I called it good for today. As far as I know, nobody has done this before....at least I haven't read about it, so yea there you have it....might be useless info but at least it's out there.

Very tiny, thin, pathetic front lip

I know this site is mainly for CB7's and Accords but still...I've seen discussions about other cars besides that. I used to have a 6th gen Accord, so I'm no stranger. Plus it has been mentioned that the Vigor shared the same chassis as the Accord, if it's true or not is a different story.

But thanks for taking the time to check out the pics, even though they aren't of an Accord.

yeah that's the lip i saw at the PnP last week. i kept walking back and forth looking at it but didn't know what it was. Then i happened upon a Legend sedan that that had it's bumper on the ground but someone tied a rope to it.
Lucky for me, it's lip was still there.

I am aware of my foglight situation. I haven't made time to put my JDM CC2 headlights in. But the reason the passengers side fog light is yellowed is because it collected water and the previous owner didn't do anything about it. Thus, the water ended up discoloring the lens.

It is nice to see that you all think it looks good...kind of disappointing that they don't come stock with bigger lips. But that's ok, all is well now
