All I ask is how can you make a site better by picking a random member, and trying to humuliate him by making him a feature car? They do that shit in the movies with the prom king thing...it's just pretty childish IMO. I lost a lot of respect for anyone and everyone involved in the whole thing.

I was just trying to prove a point. Some people on this site hate sooooooo much that it gets out of hand at times. I remember the month that Sticky made it to Honda Tuning and people hated on him BIG TIME. Read the posts my friend. Then he goes up for AOTM against other CB7's that couldn't even compete and looses. This has happened on more than one occasion. Why? Because the haters voted against him out of spite. So since in my opinion the AOTM process is a joke I treated it as such.

You also said that we are all equal here. If this is so true, then why do we have the "Accord of the Month?"

don't even stress over haters coz no matter what, they'll be there. not everyone will like what you, he, she, or it has done to their car coz we all have personal styles and preferences.

believe me, i've experienced being hated on several times back in the day. i walked into a local pharmacy to pick up my meds, not even 5mins i go back outside, and my car was keyed entirely around(one of the reasons why i opted to shave everything on the car). another time, while enjoying a night out in the Hamptons, i come out to the car and there is a towel on the roof. little did i know, it had some type of paint thinner coz by the next morning, my paint on my rooftop was peeling/cracking all over. yeah i was pissed, ready to hit the first person i saw, but i continued to do what i wanted to the cb7.

let it be, coz just continue to do what YOU always have been doing.. just like everyone else. i know i've achieved plenty and what i want so far with my cb7; it may not win trophies, AOTM, or even come close to being in a magazine.. but its all good. just knowing whats been done to it to be different, to stand out from others is good enough for me.

and no more of this west coast/east coast rivalry.. we already lost Biggie and Tupac and look at the rap scene now. people rappin' about: snap my fingaz.. rollin' on 36s

Well, the AoM competition is to highlight some of the more impressive rides, as a way for the community to look inside itsself and give a little recognition to some of the people that have worked really hard for what they have.

Other CB7's that couldn't even compete? That's one person's opinion. I don't know if you've looked at our past winners, but there's some very impressive pieces of machinery in there. We've had members in mags in the past, before all this went down. Burleigh was in Super Street I believe over a year ago, before he even went turbo. You were in a magazine, Shane was in a magazine.

The purpose was for people to vote and nominate the cars THEY like and then vote for it. Only once since the competition started did I vote for the car that won. Would I make a thread going against the winner, absolutely not. But to get as angry as you because a car you feel is so superior didn't win...I don't know.

THANK YOU! That's the sort of attitude we need... Be proud of where you are, fine. There's nothing wrong with pride. But when you start acting superior, and then attacking people because you think they're "hating" on you, that IS childish. SoCal pride is fine with me. But you're no better than the NJ crew, or the Florida crew, or the Texas crew.

If I want to just look at cars and read braggary, I'll go to CarDomain. This is a community. There are people on here I consider real friends... some of whom I've never met in person. If you think you're better than someone else here, then you don't belong here. End of story.
