ya i have that thread saved, its a bit confusing tho, i can leave the stock f22 auto bracket welded on the car and use a 94-97 5spd mount, but i have to use a 94-97 tranny or i can use a 90-93 f22 tranny?

and if you can do that why you say dont use an f22 tranny? hows that gonna save me lots of time if it doesnt have to be welded? it would take just as long as swapping in a h23 tranny....

you dont have to weld if you use a mount from a 5g accord or 4g lude... youll need to drill and tap the transmission in some cases, which only requires pretty cheap tools as compared to a welder. if the mount needs to use the untapped holes, drill them wider with an 11/32" drill bit, then tap with a 10x1.25mm tap. this mount is technically not a 100% perfect fix, so youll need to 3 things to compensate: 1. stack washers 3/8" high on each bolt between the driver side mount and the flange that bolts it to the motor. 2. youll have to pry the tranny mount over a bit to get the bolt through and 3. when the motors in, youll need to jack up the front of the motor a bit to get the front bolt through.

the following trannies can accept that certain mount:
      - cb7 accord trans from an F22A6
      - 5g accord F22 tranny
      - 4g lude F22/H23/H22 tranny

of course i havent seen every tranny in the world so if youre buying one, you can check to make sure itll work if it has 5 mounting stud holes on the top, not just 3.

the only times you need to weld are if youre using an F22A1/A4 tranny or if you want to make it an OEM-proper installation.
