99 accord j30 wont idle no eng light

My girls 99 accord coupe 3.0 randomly started not holding an idle when you would start it after sitting for a few hrs. Only way ive found to keep it running is to bounce it off rev limiter and let it come to idle. driving me nuts. Bad gas?, tps, map, injectors? any ideas? no eng lights at all.

Why do these keep popping up? Especially in OT?
This isn't a forum for those cars, and this sub forum isn't about specific problems. It's for bullshitting and sharing nudes.

Beyond common knowledge, this forum isn't an expert of any newer cars.

Moved to the proper forum. Even when something IS a rule, people don't pay attention.

They probably don't pay attention to get attention. I've never visited this sub forum before. Putting something in OT almost guarantees it will be seen.

Pissing in someone's fridge will guarantee that I will relieve my bladder... but it's not the correct place for it.

              its still technically "off topic"
If people on here have k swapped cbs then there should be some with j swapped cbs. Its more of a general automotive problem. maybe it would of been better if i said i have a 90 with a j30 swaped with every stitch of wiring?

K series are way newer than the 98-02 j series, seen some cbs with both engines installed. You would think someone would know about them. Its probably an issue that is repeated with other vehicles other than mine. Wasnt sure if anyone else had somewhat of the similar issue with thier car, given our cbs with f,h,k,j series all utilize injectors and coil packs. Minus the j and k series the fuel and ignition systems are generally the same. its a simple question. It sucks that people have to take a general question that is technically "off topic" because its a different car with a different issue, could be any car with the issue, and as i was accused of "Flaming" it. It wont hurt anyone to just look over it and either have an answer to the issue or just leave it alone. god forbid if one more thread was in the wrong place due to someone running on little to no sleep and putting it in a half decent section. I could see if i had posted it in the Exterior section or something like way off. But do what you will.

but if you had pissed in the sink it wouldve been close but still made it into the sewer eventually.

Sure, there are people that would know about it. And those people that know would occasionally browse the "other automotive" section and answer the question.

Asking about wheel offset is a "general automotive" question, but it also has a proper section. Asking about the function of a turbocharger or supercharger would be "general automotive", but again, it has its own section.

Sometimes I think I should just delete every section, and just have one big "OFF/ON TOPIC" section... for EVERYTHING.

This thread isn't offtopic. Maybe back in 07 before there was an "Other Automotive" section. But we have one now for this very reason.
                          wat?

"other automotive" was one of the ORIGINAL sections of this site. 2003. (the specific "tech/performance" section was added in January, 2006.)

Another reason to post in the correct section: you don't get 14 replies about the incorrect placement of your thread, and 0 replies about the question you're actually asking!
