    Possible Project: 1949 Cadillac

I drive past this car nearly every day because of my job (Road Service Tech)and I can't help but think about the possibilties. I finally stopped to take some pics and talk to the guy breifly, and this is what I came up with. I am looking for critisism both positive and negitive:

Price $2000 obo (I was thinking like $1000 IF it runs.)

    Pros:
    - Could be a beautiful car in about 5-7 years.
    - Parts are readily available
    - Hood, front bumper, roof, dash, and trunk just need to be blasted, primed, and painted, no dents, or deep rust.

    Cons:
    - Pretty much everything else is going to have to be redone or replaced.

    Pics:

Not worth 1k to me as mentioned. But would be incredibly respectful when completely restored. If you're truly interested in completing a restoration project of this car then deal with him some more, get under 1k though. It is of VERY little value to most people...
