Scion TC? What do you think of it?

    http://www.scion.com/wanttc/

I was drawn to the website by a ad ,

this car actually looks pretty clean, almost like a wrx, what i am unable to figure out, do they intend for this car to race? or do they just throw a bunch of things in to make it look good?

tell me what you all think

I like what I've seen in the commercial so far.. I think it's aimed at tuners anyway.

Where's the Mazda 6? Why hasn't those cropped up tuned out. Nice platform imho too.

I actually did a marketing presentation for the new Scion brand. As we all know, Scion is a susbidiary spawn of Toyota. The TC is actually being produced to be the successor of the soon to be retired Celica. There will be a factory option TRD turbo model available in the near future

I like it...like the way it looks, stronger than most affordable cars.(accords, civics, etc)

yea i think it's geared towards the younger modding crowd... i don't like the back though... it looks weird to me.

but from the commercials in the movie theatre's i see... it's gonna blow up and next thing you know is everyone will have one....

Kinda looks like a rip-off between an RSX and one of those newer Volvo sedans. Either way...not a fan.

Yeah, I agree.. I do see some Volvo styling in it.. But that's been the case for years. Mercedes was the first to have the tails like they do, then Honda ripped them off for the Civics. I guess it's a form of flattery.. Kinda like wheels though, how many different ways can you make a car look.

It's like a cross between a Camry and a Corolla... I'm not a huge fan. I don't like these "pretend sports cars" that are the trend these days... I can appreciate hooking up a car that isn't meant to be fast, and I can appreciate real sports cars, but when they release things like this it bugs me.
