    Legnum VR-4

I've always liked the Galant VR-4 of which only 3000 were imported into the US from Japan between 1991 and 1992.

This is the Galant's wagon sibling (V6 TWIN TURBO 2500CC DOHC 24 VALVE AWD w/4WS)

What's left to say?? This definitely is one sick wagon! I've actually seen a couple of these in their non VR-4 versions when I was overseas.

Btw, for those of you who don't know, VR-4 stand for "Viscous Realtime 4" which refers to the all wheel steering system that is activated at speeds above 30mph.

Nice! The 4G63T puts out 195hp stock and I've heard they respond very well to mods. 93accordEX, (if you see this) did you save any pics of your VR-4.

didn't he say it was a v6 turbo not the 4g63...i think someone just made reference to it as comparison saying "the 4 banger turbo made X hp stock, so this 2.5 v6 tt must be a beast!"

and if he's not saying that, then i am. that 2.5 v6 TT must be a beast!

I have a few pictures around

the ones sold here in 91-92 did have the 4g63, that wagon is the next generation, which had to get the bigger twin turbo v6 since they started putting the 4g63 in the lancer because it was a lighter chassis. so yea in some ways the galant can be considered the first evo.

Awesome shot with both the accord and the galant there. What happened with the Galant? Do you still have it?

Yes you're right the V6 engines were then put into later generations of Galant and Galant wagon (Legnum). Indeed, the Galant VR-4 was the first "evolution" lol... I never thought of it like that!
