1927 Essex ratrod project

This is my wife's friend Evan's 1927 Essex ratrod project. (click for the link - I couldn't swipe his pic properties.)

He's doing a lot of custom fabrication work to it, and, although it's going to hit the streets with a 427 big block, he's building a 406 fuel injected twin turbo small block for it. I thought some people might like to check it out.

Project definitely looks awesome, though I'm not so sure about those motor mounts...

really wimpy, and at the WORST possible angle for torque bending them off... looks cool tho

Pretty sure that's faked. I've never seen a cop that would let you take pictures of someone getting arrested. Probably a freind of his.

I'm hoping the mounts are just there for mock up purposes until he fabs something better.
