to be honest both the B pillar as well as the back corner have been pushed in, which have pulled upward on the lower rocker panel/floorpan... its kinked man... and thats more work than a particular CB is worth, in my opinion. id rather pick up a new shell and swap parts over.


though a while back alb_accord DIYed replacing that lower rear corner... came out good just of course never looked would look new and straight again...


if you do it yourself, its cheap, so you could try.


otherwise im not sure what a shop would charge, but its going to need time on the puller id imagine.

then all of the body work afterward..........

You guys have clearly never heard of spot welding.

There is a reason they use that method to stiffen chassis'.

yeah, but even so, I would not recommend welding a piece of metal in in that area of the car. There are too many variables at play, and just because it COULD end up being as strong as the metal thats there, it probably wont. Spot welding also works to stiffen seams in the chassis, not replace metal thats already there IIRC.

Honestly i would get a new shell. this body seems compromised. safety first man.

side note: x2 on getting jack stands. some guy by my work was killed working under his car because the floor jacks he was using slipped out from under his car.

Yeah, i was going to mention Klevis's work. That was pretty damn kickass to see!

It won't be perfect, and the frame may be bent... but it's fixable if you want to put the time and money into it. If not, find a clean shell and start over! AccordWarrior showed me a BEAUTIFUL 5 speed Arcadia Green wagon in MA today for $2500!

See i don't really know what to do because insurance is giving me the run around and i really want it fixed im tired of driving my mom's husbands truck.

Also as far as the jack stands i know i need them im just too poor or don't think about it till the last minute.

If anyone has a shell let me know i don't want a cb7tuners car cuz 1 they will want more than i have, 2 i have parts and don't want anyone elses, 3 im almost flat broke.

well here in kc, there is a guy selling a cb7 for 1k. Its a 5spd. I can talk to him if you'd like. and maybe get him to drop the price a bit more. Because I am good like that but you are probably way to far away
