    ripped off....

I just went to Mida to get my exhaust fixed (pipe from resonator rusted off.) So I asked them how much it would be to get 2.5" mandrel bent tubing, and they said $800!! So I'm like fuck that, and just replace it with the stock size, but it still cost me $200. A fucking rip off, pissed me off so much. I should've just gotten a Cat back system on ebay.

If they were going to build you a full system with a muffler and cat, then I would say $800 is a fair price. My 2.5" full system cost me $400 just for the parts...good thing I didn't have to pay labour...that would've been a good $400-500 more.

Midas blows...they charged me 370 for a cat back when i first got the car (my mom made me go) and its already rusting off. If you haven't already replaced the exhaust...get other estimates...if not...make sure you have that guarantee...the material they use isn't all that great...

I put the garuntee in my glove box

And I should've looked around town to see what ther places were charging, but I couldn't live without my cb7 for any longer.

i paid $70 labor to get flanges cut and a universal cat (which i provided) welded in.

it was "budget muffler and brake" - the only place that had some time to get the car done that day.

                          i need a welder.
