weird stairwell near the pool, leading down to an area where that window above is. we actually got caught while i was taking this picture, a man with a dog showed up in the window in the far top right corner, and came running and yelling at us asking us why we were here. told him we were just looking around taking pictures, and he didnt seem to be upset, he just wanted us to leave, so we walked back out with him, talking. cool guy, i have a feeling hes teh owner of another website that i have found about Grossingers... he lives right next to it.

a huge, expensive resort closes up due to dwindling business, rising expenses, and growing debt... whos going to spend tons of money maintaining it AFTER its been closed? lol. during research of such places, ive found news articles about garbage/refuse problems, and big legal issues trying to figure out whos responsibility it is to foot the bill to clean these places up, or take care of other related issues. or even whos responsibility it is to pay for knocking it down, or at least who needs to pay for the boards of plywood to board up the windows. its cheaper and easier to just lock the front gate and pretend it doesnt exist lol.

Its cool that theres somone else on the site thats into this stuff too. Ive been into quite a few places.. Theres a psyche ward in Picton that pretty cool.

When I was in RI a while ago there was a super cool looking phyche hospital from the 70's thats been closed forever apearantly. I wanted to check it out but though it would be no good to get caught..... especially being in another country and what not.
