Well, it was fun while it lasted

I listed my supra for sale on socalsupras and its going on craigslist in few minutes.

i drained the oil and coolant came out first.

I'm broke, and dont have a job, so therefore, i cannot afford to repair it.

I'm litterally crying as Im posting this. No, i dont want any ones sympathy. This was my baby. I tried my best to bring it back to life about a year ago. but what ever. my dad said he's not fixing it.

i just wanted to let that out

    later.

Dont sell it,I went trough this too.My Irocs enigne blew up,I was gonna sell to a guy for 500.00 cash,he was going to take it to mexico where I would never see it again...

I ended up keeping it and currently hunting down an engine.

GL with your situation...keep it,you dont wanna be 40 and regretting selling it.
If you sell it,sell it to a freind or family member. At least you can see your car grow.

How much are you selling it for? And is it hard to swap in a 2JZ engine?

                        headgasket < $100

not having a job, selling a broken car for cheap gets you money yes but how much will that really help, once you get a job again youll just have to spend so much more rebuying another car. its much cheaper overall if you keep it around and fix it yourself, even if it sits for a while until you can afford the gasket. take it off insurance and wait. its not like youd be able to drive it either way.

and thats just from a logical standpoint, loving the car / model makes it even that much more worth keeping...

I feel you, and witsh the best of luck to you.
Its not all bad though, you may find a car you like
better for cheaper and in the future when you
are making money you can buy another one.
It sucks to love cars and not have money.
