"The advantage of using a OBD1 GSR ecu for your DOHC VTEC swap is the OBD1 P72 ECU doesnt look for a 2nd O2 sensor or a Crank Angle position sensor. So if you didnt wire up those up in your OBD2 swap, no worries because the OBD1 P72 Ecu doesnt look for those sensors. The OBD2 GSR ecu will.
***Unlike the P28 ecu, this P72 ecu can run a DOHC VTEC swap in its stock form without being chipped.*** The P72 ecu is also capable of controlling IAB's ( Intake butterfly valves ) and Knock sensor, which the P28 ecu doesn't.
Ive seen these U.S. OBD1 P72 ECU's go for more than what Im asking for the "BUY IT NOW" option. This is the Japan version."
??? i thought p28 would run an h swap without a chip. bleh this disappoints me/
