actually you guys are right... while my post was #882xxx, many of those were deleted, and the main page DOES say there are 750k posts. weve deleted over 130k posts!! lol

like 3? lol. also steveB deletes all of his old posts, but i guess he doesnt post all that often

well at the rate this site is going, it wont be TOO long until we hit it... i remember when we were wondering if we were ever going to hit 1000 members... post/thread/member count is growing exponentially.

each post gets a unique number, and deleted posts keep theirs, so they never get reused... there have been over 880k posts since the beginning, but as of right now, theres 750k actual visible ones. the difference between the two numbers is how many have been deleted, or somehow otherwise disappeared...

now the question is, who is going to be post #1,000,000, and whos going to have the 1,000,000th post? hehe.

yeah, I remember fizzy deleted like 5000 of his posts, and all the threads he made under that account. that was like . . . at least 15000 posts. and alot of quality information.

Fizz was only deleted once... but it was after he was quite established here. Over 5,000 posts, I think. Any of those that were threads he created took the entire thread with them. I regret doing that, now. I wish I had just made him invisible instead. It wasn't 15,000 posts... I'm WELL above anyone else, and I only have about 12,000 (I post in OT a lot... and I have damn near 10,000 posts that count!)

Man, when I can't sit on my computer and surf this site for hours on end, I get anxious... I feel like I'm missing something! My own cb7tuner.com addiction will keep this place going, even if nobody else cares! Sometimes I think I have more interest in the site than I do the car! I definitely keep the site cleaner... and lately, I'm spending more money on it than on the car!
