Inside The Honda Training Center in New England

So here are some behind the scene photos from Honda's Traing Center here in New England that my friend took while he was @ training......the Shop is amazing, floors are washed and waxed nightly, spills are not allowd, cars have less then 10 miles on them, the Acura GS-R and Type-R have 8 miles on the Odometer, the Si's have bout 15, the S2k has 4 miles on it.....its a rad shop...it costs 10k to send a tech down there from a Dealerships....you work at your own speed, there are no time limits, your graded and certified by how the insructor views you working, if you work consistant and show that you know what your doing.....you get graded....you have to complete all self study's before you go down, Honda has changed when your able to come down, it use to be that the dealer could send you down when they feel its right, now honda wants techs to be at that dealership for more then 2 years before they are allow down to training centers....its sweet i hope to go down when i'm good enough to go down...

Thats a really nice shop ehulst, im in a bmw degree program and i have to say thats one hell of a shop you got there! Ill take some pictures next week to show you some of the sick cars in there, once they move the ones that are not allowed to be photographed, as they have not been released yet.....But before i post pics ill give you a brief description. Its clean as you have there, not anywhere near as big, but really clean, and packed to the brim with mostly new 3/5/X/and 1 760il. We have 5 lifts, 4 GT1s(diagnostic computers), and 3 different classes using them constantly. There is also dealer training going on there, so the bay is rarely empty. Im trying to find a time to take pictures, ive been meaning to do it for a while. Anyway im gunna go to sleep as i have to wake up at 430 tomarrow so i can beat traffic to school. Peace.

When I went to the Honda Training Center in Denver for my training last year they had a Civic Si, Integra Type-R, S2000 and NSX all lined up next to eachother. They also had a 1990 Accord with 37 miles on the odometer, the car looked brand new, no grease, no dirt, no rust, just sparkling clean OEM goodness...I miss the HTC...

The cars are awesome, but I think that the best part of the HTC is that they have EVERY service manual from about 1970-present, and they have EVERY Honda Special Tool that's ever been made. OH! Plus, they have a corner that has about 20 different Honda engines (B,D,F,H,C,K and J-series), all on stands, brand new, ready to be torn apart and rebuilt. It's like Honda Heaven.
