How much u think for westcoast CB7?

I'm just thinking ahead here, but I most likely will buy a CB7 from out west or down south (U.S.) with NO rust and a decent engine/trans...enough to drive me back to Michigan.

Anyhow, I primarily want it for the "like new" body in which I'll swap my built F22 into it. I'm also thinking, if this car's engine/trans is decent...I'll throw it into my 90 EX to extend it's life...if it's worth it.

Anyhow, how much do you think a 90-93 Accord Sedan EX with manual transmission with NO rust and most if not all electrical stuff in working order will cost me? I don't care about the mileage on engine as long as it runs good enough to get me to Michigan.

I wouldn't want to spend more than $2500

    Thanks.

Any where from $1500-$4500. Cars tend to be more expensive out here in Cali. Expect $3000 and up for good conditioned cars.

I personally bought mine for $3000. Completely stock, 5 speed. It had 157,XXX miles on it, extremely clean in and out (including the engine bay). Had minor dings but no major blemishes. Still runs like a champ.

Do really extensive searches on Recycler. It took me almost 2 months to find mine, so keep a heads up on really good deals. Also, stay away from coastal people (if they live in San Francisco, by a beach, etc.) they tend to have rust, unlike us inland people.

You could always buy a southern car, say from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, or Florida. Rarely do those cars ever have rust, and they will be significantly cheaper than cars in so-cal. Good luck man.

When I get back to fl, I'll be on the lookout. Just be a few months. Sure the florida cars are cheaper than cali though.

Thanks for all the help. Yea, I'll consider a car from down south as well, not just from out west.

Like I edited, I would not want to pay more than $2500 because I'm really just buying it for a NO RUST body. Obviously, I need a decent engine/trans to get me back. I am looking for a manual transmission by the way, so I don't have to deal with an auto-to-manual conversion.

I would have to say, if I found a 92-93 EX manual, it would take priority over a 90-91 EX, but either or really....I figure I'll have more options this way & price talks.

Thanks again for all the help, I really appreciate it. I'll get a hold of you guys when the time comes to get a good bodied Accord. This will not be until I finish my engine build.

Thanks & yea, you're probably right. I just figured out west because I could visit my family in Phoenix, AZ at the same time. But my grandma was looking at a used 92-93 EX in good shape at a Honda dealer for like $3500-4000 that had like 140-150K...that's higher than I plan to pay...I'm not looking for a great engine/trans & overall car combo...primarily just body & all the electronics work.

Shit, for that price I'd get it now and not save up the $2500, which I most likely won't get til next summer.

                            Daaayuuuum. Keep me posted

out here in Fl you can find CB7s for real cheap most under 3000 k all most all of them are 1500 to 2500 i am looking for a 93 rite now. only prob about FL is that if the old owners didnt tint there windows the seats fade and any leather cracks and some time the dash fades and/or cracks but besides that no rust and theres no emissions testing here
