i love them too... i went on a trip to mexico and it was awesome, catching black widows and scorpions... cool shit.

i watched a show a couple years ago that explained different recipes for boiling, baking, and/or steaming bugs... then putting them on pizza, eating them plain, etc. large bugs and im sure cicadas are definately eaten by people... but i too cant ever bring myself to stick one in my mouth and bite down. the same way i cant bite into a whole soft-shell crab.

let me know what nutrition plan works for you (when you find one that works).

i'm thinking it's near impossible without shakes or eating like 8 meals a day... lol

              i try to eat at 6am, 9am, 11am, 1:30pm, 4pm, and 7pm with a snack later that night......
but there aren't that many high protein foods out there... what do you eat each time?

              btw... this is so

I remember they were bad one year up in MD.
Well... it was southern maryland. It can't be 17 years... cause i would have to have been 3 and theres no way i could remember them if i was 3... i could swear its every 7 years. who knows...

                            good target practice...
plus you wont run out for a whole month.

                            BTW!
here is a fact about cicadas found on a cicada website.

Question: What is the life span of a cicada?

Answer: That depends on the Genus and species of the cicada. The Magicicada Genus of North America has a 17 or 13 year life cycle (the largest of any insect). Other Geniuses of cicadas have life cycles of a variety of years (never more than 17 and usually a primary number). The Tibicen or "dog day" cicada has a life cycle of only a couple of years and which is one of the reasons why we see them each year.
