WOOHOO!!!!! gotta love the 3 year mark...

well, over the past while ive been getting raped on car insurance. eventhough ive had geico, i was still paying $1600/6mo for the accord/tl... and $1800/6mo for the tl alone.

as of this month, my "street racing/exibition of speed" ticket has been wiped from my record. and i just got my new quote for the tl alone, no more multi discount =(... and its $950/6mo, full coverage. i was hoping for a drop, but shit, 50% just because of one ticket?!?!?!! fuckin amazing.

yeah its funny how age,sex and martial status has an effect on ones insurance. you also have to factor in the city.

Wow...I thought I was being ripped off paying 980/year for my car. My mom pays something like 600/year for hers, and we have the same car and coverage.

I'm afraid to know what my next car's gonna be per year. Hopefully I can afford to keep the CB on the road.

Sweet man. More money for the TL (I know. I know. You said you were done for now)

The more I think about it, I should have a ticket wiped from my record that I got 3 years ago.

How can you check to see if your ticket has been wiped from your record?

Call up your insurance company and ask what they have on file as far as accidents/tickets to verify their information is correct (with dates and all that)

If they don't do that, then you'll have to go to the DMV and get your record. I think it runs $5.00

I pay almost 3,000 a year. My 5 year mark of driving comes next nov. thats when my shit will go down significantly.

I love the 3 year mark too, just reached it recently. I don't know how much I was paying over the 10 month period but I do know I was paying over $200 a month, now it's significantly lower than that.

More money for the TL then huh? I know you said you're done, but something will come up that you want, it always happens. When I got my civic I said I wasn't gonna mod it...that lasted about a month.
