92? Accord On Ebay (Sketchy Car Alert)

92? Accord

Okay, I saw this Accord on Ebay, and it definitely boggles me. It's listed as a 1992 EX, but it looks nothing like the 92-93. I ran a quick check on the VIN at carfax and it came back as a 92 EX/EX-R.

So Far, I see

- 90-91 Front Bumper
- 90-91 Lip
- 92-93 Grill
- 92-93 Rear Bumper
- 90-91 Tails
- NO Sunroof (Supposedly an EX?)
- 90-91 Rims

I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't go near this car...there's too much sketchy-ness going on...I guess this is just another warning to avoid ebay when buying full cars without checking them out in person.

Then explain the rear trunk lid and tails. And do those wheels come on the '92-'93s? Also, what's the difference between bumpers?

I like how there's no good close pics of it, no interior shots, and no engine compartment shots.

The rear trunk lid is definitely a 90-91. The wheels are the 90-91 style, not the 92-93. The 90-91 were 17 slot rims, while the 92-93 were 12 slot rims. (I have 92-93 EX wheels on my 90 LX). The rear bumpers were alost a little different. The black molding on the 90-91 bumper rolled under the car, while the 92-93 flared out. That rear bumper flared out.

this thing has been pieced together from multiple cars evidentally.. fuck that..

I must be blind, because I still don't see one...I now see its listed under the mods, must be a bad pic or reflection, because it definitely doesn't look like there is one to me...i guess i can kinda see what might be a moonroof on in the bad driver's side pic, but in the passenger side, front and back pics, i'm not seeing a moonroof, w/e...i'm just saying in my mind that added into the wtf factor on that car...but w/e...i guess sarcasm prevails...
