    What happened to the monthly CB7t thing?

    I'd like to continue that...I'll write articles and interview people. Deev I know you like to write too. Let's all come together and start this up again. LMK!!!

      Ah ok...yea man bring it back, I'd help if you wanted. W/the AOTM thing I think it would be cool to follow up w/interviews and technical stuff, like a real magazine.

                      I say we should make it more official than a simple post Let's take it to the next level and make it an online magazine sort of thing! People can write articles, we can do product reviews...

                      Basically, we can have a staff of people who are genuinely interested in doing it for the long term, and we can have contributors chip in. People with web design skills can do the layout.

                      Would you guys be into that? I know it's kinda taking it a little further than before, but I had that idea way back when Joe was doing the monthly thread. We can always make a discussion thread about it for feedback

                              Newsletters take a lot of effort write and (hopefully) edit. That's probably why it hasn't been done recently.

                              Some places do these as actual documents, with real layout and such, then save them as PDFs and have members sign up to receive automatic email distribution --- and save the forum for what it does best, for comments. You'd have the advantages of better layout that's easier to do than in HTML, and with guaranteed compatibility and presentation that PDF offers.
