    Computer Nerds Needed

I just bought Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II the other night from Wal-Mart, installed it, but it doesn't work. This is the error I get:

Any ideas? Is there anything I can do for FREE to fix this? lol Thanks.

Nothing free... U need a better video card. Judging by that ur using like a Dell system or whatever. your going to need a better video card, Looks like your using hte onboard stuff which is reall garbage and is worthless for any of these new games out.

X2!! a new kick-ass video card is needed

and i guess your onboard video card is stealing from the main physical memory? that slows the computer down.

well, technically, can't he go into the game and dumb down the graphics? i mean, its just a warning, and its not a requirement just recommended. will the game not even install? you said it installed. i know it will suck at 640x480 with all effects off and quality set to low, but hell.

eh, i'm a nerd, but i game on consoles. i like my computers for other purposes. just buy an xbox.

I was afraid this computer wasn't good enough.

Gary, I have no clue what that is. lol. I'm like a woman with cars: I only know how to use them. lol

Matt, I did install it. The game just screws up and doesn't load whenever I try to open it. I tried setting the settings at a low resolution but that didn't help it. And XBOXes cost money. lol

And I figured it would be a great video game computer 'cause I got it at Christmas of '04. That and this game supposedly came out in '04.

basically anyhting u buy now for above 50 bucks can run that game well these days. buy something made by Nvideo or ATI. Or give me the website to some of your local computer stores and I can point out something for you.
