is it against the law to chrome a whole car? technically those gas trucks are cutting it close at times. ive seen really close to chrome ones.

i dont think you could polish the actual metal of the car to a shine... itll rust out without the paint covering it... the bimmer was chrome paint, im sure the paint was polished for millions of hours, but still it was paint...

You probably could polish the actual metal polish it to the perfect shine than clear coat the whole car to protect from any chance of rust.

It is actually very possible. Aluminum is much less resistant to corrosion than steel, and American Airlines polishes all of their airplanes.

They just need a special coating. I think it comes that way, from the factory, but they must have to re-apply it.

Unless it is anodized...
