this is a follow up thread to the one about my accident

i was very optimistic and wanted to fix the wagon but as i took off the bumper i found out that it was worse than i thought. The front was bent on the bottom all the way to the cross member and the sides were misaligned. in order to fix it i would have to cut and weld on that piece of front end. because of lack off tools and welding experience i couldnt do this and body shops were giving me crazy quotes and would not allow me to provide any of the parts (thanx for your help deev). so i started looking for another car...cb7/9 that is. i searched long and far when i remembered that my mechanic 2 blocks away from me had a cb7 sitting in the lot for a while. to make the story short i got a 90 accord ex coupe. i got it for $600. the engine smokes but its soon getting replaced with an F22B so thats not a problem. just need to fix some rust on rear quater panels and get a macco paint by end of summer. it even came with fogs to make things better Pics coming tomorrow after i wash it. I plan to transfer most parts from the cb9 to it. look out for a for sale/trade thread soon. Ill have a 5spd tranny and a gray wagon interior in mint condition.
