ok now im fuckin pissed.. I just typed the whole story and it said it was too long and now its gone and i refuse to write it again....

anyways i was drivign down the road and some explorer was behind me onmy ass swirving and im like wtf so i slow down and hes still doign it and i lock up and i her SCREEEECH and i push the gas so he wont hit me and i look back and he goes in small trees so then i just keep going inmy neighborhood and hes still following me so i loose him and i park the car and take off and then ther eare like 5 cops by my car and i come out of the woods and im like im scared shitless of this guy and shit then i got chanrged with

Driving wrecklessly
Tresspassing
littering
Speeding 40 in a 35
leaving the scene of property damage..

And now i have to go to court on monday i have a lawyer and shit but still

COPS Never saw me do ANTYHING They did whatever the guy told him and the other guy who is 24 GOT NOTHING I was soo pissed im like excuse me he got nothin? How did he catch up to me he sped oviosuly...


Here is just a outline There are some details in it but theres the major thing

What do you think? shoudk u get in trouble for this or what? Let me know because im pissed right now... This also happend 2 days before i went to RI for college so yeah

sorry to hear that the cops already charged you with stuff without even hearing yer side of the story. try and get a "neighbor" to be a witness, and u should be okay.

fight it, cops try to pin as much bs as they can just so they bring in money for the town.. they shouldn't have pressed charges just for taking his side of the story... now that's some crappy police work there.. and its his damn fault for driving that close to you... whatever happened to 1 car length for every 10 mph? (at least its like that in the drivers manual in jersey)

when i have crazy ppl driving behind me, a couple times ive pulled off the road into whatever random store was there... if he turns off with you, walk into the convenient store/gas station/whatever, where there are more ppl. its better than being scared to death of the guy behind you. anyway.

but thats crazy, the cops werent even there, how did they know it was you, or what you did? thats what brake lights are for, so ppl know you are braking, so if he was driving normally he shouldnt have had any problem with you hitting your brakes hard like that... cats and animals DO just jump out of nowhere.

so where was there property damage?

The property damage were like someones woods.. there were like small trees in the woods he hit... yeah I know he was on my ass i couldnt see his windshild it was close dude


Yeah I locked up so he would stop swirving back and fourth on my ass it pisses me off i was going the speed limit.. and somehow he came out outta the blue... now the kid is 24.. and im 19 now

Im pissed What should i say? I already told everyone the story... cant really change it ....

He said i had 2 people in the car and i told the cops i had noone in the car.. they never saw anyone eaither... ahh its rediculous and on the police report it says a small Gray neissan and the car was a sprayed chrome Honda accord lxi

Say what your lawyer says to say, and don't say anything else.

Don't do things like locking up your brakes when somebody's riding your ass and you won't have to deal with things like this.

Just because somebody is tailgating you doesn't give you the right to do anything at all about it. The roads are public, and you encounter assholes on them, just like anywhere else.

I'm not trying to come off like an ass, myself, although I'm sure I am, but don't expect any sympathy from anybody in the legal system. The "other guy" may have instigated things, but as far the law is concerned you reacted incorrectly. Yeah, it may not be fair, but when you're on trial the other guy doesn't matter so much. It's a question of right and wrong for you. If you want the other guy to get in trouble for what he did then that's a whole new can of worms that you need to open with your lawyer, and be prepared to finance.

*edit* near as I can tell, Mike (cpmike) posted the most sensible solution. You "deal" with it by doing nearly nothing.

well i agree with fizzbob and steve... Me going in the woods becuase i cant fight... this guy was 25 and i knew he was gonna like kill me.. I need to get jacked.... anyways He was BEHIND ME that says that it was his fault... no matter what there is no way h shoulda went off the road... if he was 2 car lengnths.... and he was right on my arse..... anyways i cant wait till monday i havent even seen what this f*cker looks like.. its gonna be a trip

You was a victum of road rage, this guy probably had a weapon or something, so you had to hide. Lets say there was a woman, and a guy followed her all the way to her neighborhood. She parks the car, Is she suppose to just stand there, and take a few punches to the head, No she gets her ass out of their and hide. How can she get in trouble for saving her life. Now if you would have stayed there you probably would have been fighting and someone would get hurt. As for the braking, just like bustedlx, it was considered his fault, for the coliision, so it should be the same for the other guy. It was his fault in the first place for not obeying the rules. I think you will win.

fight it man, thats what the courts are for. Thats bs i would've done the same thing, that type of crap pisses me off. Road rage or not they were following too close. The cops can charge you with anything they want but the burden of proof is on them not you, so if you didn't do it there is no proof. Good luck in court. I had someone hit me in the rear before cuz i brake tapped 'em. My excuse was a dog ran out in front of me and he couldn't prove that one didn't.

Carry a bat in your trunk, or a rod iron or something you can use to fight with. I have a lot of nice things in my trunk that I can use if I need to whoop someone's ass but I've only had to threaten someone and that was last week, but best of luck in court.
