    are you joking me?

    a nut for the exhaust manifold to block is 2.90 a piece? (90212-PD2-003)

    anyone know of a better replacement?

    Concidering what it does, I'd pay it.
    It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.

      id reuse my old ones but i think they are stuck to the studs

        Pull the studs outta the head and then reuse them with the nuts stuck on.

              yeah, ive done the same... half the time when i swap manifolds around, half the nuts come off and half pull the studs out too. studs arent anything special, just make it easy to line up the manifold to the block when ur putting the nuts on. imagine it with no studs, and u had to line up bolts?

              even use a regular bolt in place of a stud and nut, itll be fine.

                so um....how do you take off the studs? the manual doesnt say anything about replacing studs, thanks

                    vice grips if you dont want to save it...

                    or, if you put two nuts onto the stud and tighten them to each other, then "loosen" the nut closest to the block, itll get stuck on the outer nut and itll end up unscrewing the whole stud. then you use two wrenches to get the nuts back off.

                      thanks, lucky me, only one of the studs came out and all the other nuts were preserved.
