mmmm i love that color! it looks sick with dark accents, like a CF hood, gunmetal wheels (like pictured) and tinted windows

so i went to check out the car today and was terribly disappointed. he was firm on the price of $3000 and it needed a paint job. i checked the oil and it was low and really dark. he was such a shady guy...he didn't even know what a timing belt was! direct quote from the guy "those are new spark plugs, i think. do they look new?" and then a nervous laugh. i tried to talk him down to 2,000 but he said he couldnt do that. i replied with, "well i can't do 3 grand." and followed it with a nervous laugh.
        on to the test drive:
when he started it, it was obvious that there was an exhaust leak and he said it sounded good. i was like "uh, it sounds like there might be an exhaust leak." and he just responded by saying yea. then he says, "yea, its not registered so we won't go far." then he asks me if i wanted to drive it and i didn't want to get caught in that shit. it seemed like he just learned how to drive stick too. he left it in 3rd taking off from a stop sign!! when i asked if the clutch was ever replaced he said, "um, i think it has about... then he says well, i don't know." when i asked him about the large starfish looking crack on the front bumper he was like "oh yea, about that, i hit it with my van when i was trying to get out of the garage. no big deal."
so i'm not buying this car. i'm pretty disappointed about this since he did tell me that it was in great shape.

i was looking at the mounts on the extra b20a5 and tranny i have in the back yard and they look remarkably similar to the f22. it wouldn't take much to get it in the bay.. The biggest problem you'd have is the axels from what i can tell. The axels are the same for the a20a3 (rather sure about the a20a1, but i never looked at part numbers for that) I would imagine you could swap out the control arms and what not..or the entire sub frames system....then the strut would be your only concern...i just dont see that putting the f22 in the 3g would be worth the time...even with boost.

Has to be 5spd, has to be CHEAP. SUPER CHEAP. Will be in Indiana in February permanently and want a project car when I get settled in.

the f22 fits fine in the engine bay, and with it centered, stock 4g accord axles fit... only issue is getting hte mounts to line up perfectly to hold it in place, other than that its cake... :shrugs:
