? about the forsale/want to buy split of the classifieds

anyone else feel that the split has kinda ruined the flow of the classifies? it was much better when the fs and wtb threads were together, seems the wtb sectoion doesnt bet many views and people dont notice what others want to buy so we wind up with threads on someone offering shocks in one forum and one wanting shocks in the other and i think it makes it more of a pain in the ass to deal with it like that...just a thought

i noticed also that the WTB section gets less attention. but over time, i think that people will start to notice it more. IMO, if a seller posts in the FS section and doesn't check first if the WTB section has a potential buyer, then it's only their loss

thats what i was thinking when i suggested the change... the single forum classifieds was WAY too busy, within an hour somebodys thread would already be on page 2... then you had threads with dozens of "bump" posts and whatnot...

i think people who have stuff to sell or need money will get used to checking out the WTB forum, if not, then good luck selling. also, ppl posting up a WTB should thoroughly check all the FS threads before posting.

Yeah, its just because it hasnt been there for long enough. If you are sitting there with a bunch of stuff to sell, all you have to do is skim the WTB ads, and see if you can get something sold.

Since the for sales are more numerous, they bump the WTB's out to page 4 in no time like mike said.

I always check the WTB forum, I've sold quite a few things that way. I think splitting the FS forums was a great idea

I agree, I feel that forum intelligence needs to increase, in other words people need to use their god damn eyes in order to get things to run smoothly
