Just this past Friday, I'm about to get on the NJ tpke when I inadvertently go through an EZ-Pass only lane, which I don't have. When I get off, I go through a cash lane and tell the dude where I came from and pay that price.

Keep in mind that US postal mail only operates until 12 noon on saturday (if I'm wrong, correct me).

I come home on Sunday night, and ALREADY I have a fucking OFFICIAL LEGAL NOTICE in my mail, collecting the toll, PLUS a $25.00 admnistrative fee.

Shit, it takes FOREVER for anything in my favor, or at least neutral between me or the state, to get processed/sent/completed, but if there's cash in it for them or I stepped on their toes like I did on Friday (oh no!! not THAT!!) the army, navy, and coast guard are all waiting at my fucking door just to extract a few more dollars. What's fucking sad is this will NEVER change.

you should get one of those transparent reflectors that go over your license plate....so they cant take a pic of your plate
luckily i have an e-z pass...but lately my account has been low..and when i go through the easy pass it lets me through.....its wierd..i have like .25 left on my box...but i still drive through....

once it didnt work so i just went through...but the way it works in florida..if your box matches that you own a e-z pass your ok..i think there is a flaw in the system.... so far i havent gotten a ticket even tho i have driven through a few times without paying

my radar detector always screams laser when i drive through one of those..maybe someone can figure a way to hack them.....

haha I just got 2 of those, one from nj, one from pa, both a month after going through the tolls (and yes I have ezpass) Luckily for me I can just show them that and then I don't have to pay a fee.

I'm gonna just use Dispute B and pay the toll itself, and not the admin fee. Dispute B means that there was no way I could avoid entering the ezpass lane, and I want to be honest and pay the missed toll.

Fucking hassle though.

thats weird... you remember that day i called you because i did the same thing? (i fell asleep and accidentally rolled through ezpass) and it took like a month to show up, i sent in the payment and a month later (today) i got a "payment is overdue" notice...

maybe they are hoping i send another check figuring they didnt cash the other one (which they did), but fuck that
