i think it looks pretty good, just my only suggestion, something ive learned to help draw things (like cars) to make it look more realistic:
always compare everything to everything else. in your drawing, the bumper lenses are a certain height, then compare that to the black part of the bumper grill underneath them - the grill area is like 4x the height of the bumper lense - while in reality they are not even twice as tall, you know? if while drawing you thought about that and compared and drew things relative to every other piece of the car, things are sized properly and it comes out as a better drawing. also like the size of the license plate - in real life, its only half as wide as the upper grille between the headlights - in your drawing its almost just as wide.
just trying to bring some constructive criticism, but other than that i think it looks great and you shaped the body of the car really well, even though its not shaded, the way you curved each line make it look like the car has body and depth, you can see the curvature of the door and fender... and it looks like the front tire is rounded and thick, not just a flat black circle like a lot of people draw... i like.
and the dudes behind it look sick lol... bit big if you were going for the effect of them standing next to the car... i cant remember a time when my cb7 only came up to my waistLast edited by cp[mike]; 09-17-2005, 03:50 PM.

its a nice drawing man, but the thing is, its bad to draw with dark ass out lines, u need to learn how to shade things instead of outlining them, it will look better. o yea, lol, thats funny how the car only goes to those guy's waits.lol, but good job nonetheless

not bad but not great still alot of work ahead of ya one of the easyest parts to start on in drawing the cb is the windows and then work your way around that once you have the windows its pretty square from there

From one artist to another .. trust me .. you'll never be happy with it ..
I change so much shit with my art, sometimes I spend months on one image .. and people see it,
and they go .. "nooo .. dont change a thing". Then I'll change it .. and their like,
"Oh wow .. ok". LOL .. art ... ug .. its a tough business .. and a frustrating hobbie ..
But I like what jdmcord said .. shadows are the key .. outlines *become* difficult to see
after spending too much time on one thing ... the mind plays tricks on the eyes ..
A Hui Hou !!!

Its about roughly 3 months old... and done with mechanical pencil every other day little by little so yeah its going to look a bit dirty and stuff. As far as the dark lines... its a bad habit of mine... sides all the cars I do draw are ALL by hand... no rulers, just references... my next project car is a FC3S Enfini model and a GC8 Ver.V But thanks for all your guys/gals feedback! Very much appreciatedMy Myspace Page - BluKnightCB7
