lowest here is 2.69 highest ive seen is 3.69...both for 87.

I can understand rising prices due to the hurricane. but what worries me the most is those prices never going back where they started.

i still compare gas prices to when i was in japan...but it still hurts the wallet...

i was watching the news and the prices are expected to go "back to normal" but not for awhile....but they will eventually it may take time but prices will be down to $2.15 ...but again not for awhile......when i first got my licens almost 4 years ago prices were like $1.75 man i loved that i never thought it would get this bad,.,,,hey in france they pay $6-$9 a LTR.........NOT GALLON.....in a way were lucky.

Its funny how i can still manage to be on $20's gas
for 5-6 days straight. I feel like i do alot of driving, but i've
been practicing on my driving as of late. I now have developed
a way to minimize the need for Full Throttle.

You can save gas and still be quick at the same time.
It all depends on how you use the gas pedal

my gf works across the street from a stewarts, she said as she worked 9-5 she saw them raise their prices twice in one day. as of tonight, its 3.30 for 87 and 3.70 for 93.

i saw it up to $3+ for 87 today

i quick went and filled it up for $2.80 when i woke up.. stupid government


i was told by friends it went up about $0.70 in some places in PA today..

wow 5.87 for regular is just rediculus. did anyone see the thread about the september 1st (today) thing where they are trying to get people not to buy gas for the day.

From my e-mail - IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.
AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIES.
THEREFORE SEPTEMBER 1st HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT TO THEM " DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THESE TWO NATIONS SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY.
