people whore quick to hit 50 posts, i admit, i joined clubcivic to find p28 ECU's so i whored up 25 posts in the noobie "post pics of ur rides" forum so i was able to post in the classifieds section.

That was exactly my plan... and it would definitely help me out with the costs of this new dedicated server that I'm running on. But as you said, maybe the members would be more serious about the board if we charged a fee.

Dude I totally agree. I have seen multiple people putting up threads lately looking for this person or that person because a couple months have gone by and people havn't gotten their shit. Out of everything I think that money creates the most tention. To flame is one thing, but to fuck with someones money is another. Ban theifs.

These are only thing i have to contibute in the thread...

          My Contribution

and i feel i have to say this too...

I feel some what dissapointed in the Forum, as a whole... I hav'nt been here long, shit if you look at it, im still a newbie... But I feel that I've been here long enough to tell this board is outstanding... How can we let a few people mess something up so bad? So bad as to the point as to the people voted "most likely to hold down the fort" to finally lose it. It's not a good thing... I supposed I joind this thread a little to late to catch it's best years. I feel like i cought it at its peak, then it went downhill... How have i noticed? the stupid little comments made here and there and all of the stupid newbies... If you were to look at my posts, all of them, you would find absoloutely no flamming from me. I have never participated in making fun of some one when something stupid came up. Like that one kid who started that thread about his car with a body kit. and we all started making fun of him because he thought he knew was vetc was and clark said something about the vtec lever between the seats and i think deev even contributed the the flamming... Deev, you deleted it, you remember... and if you were to read my post, i even told the kid to PM me so i could enlighten him about this board, why we're here and not to do stupid shit like what he did. Deev, you have got to remember...

Well like i told my dad when he told me "Fuck you, I don't care, your on your own"

Im going to say "Fine, I'm on my own... I'll show you..."

          Thats my answer, Deev...

              wrong answer buddy.

if you really cared enough about this site, instead of going "sure ban me," youd be assuring us that youll behave yourself and contribute positively.

but i guess being a part of this community isnt high on your list then, so fine, vote from me: ban

this website isnt a Message Board, its a 4th gen accord COMMUNITY

Then go for it. Show me. EVERYBODY show me. Show me that I'm a moderator, and not a babysitter.

And yes, I remember that thread. That was the beginning of this. When I realized how little I care to do anything anymore... I actually flamed the hell out of that thread for about 5 minutes before deleting it. I loved every second of it too!

I had some reassurance that there were some worthwhile people left here... those who tried to be nice to the guy, and those who yelled at me and Accord Warrior for flaming. I respect those people. They showed backbone where so many others have failed to do so... too many others these days.

We're supposed to get rid of "them". The bad people. The trouble... When the Nissan Sentra guys came here, we got rid of them. They didn't like us, and we didn't like them. Now we're looking to ban other members because they're a little annoying? Fine. I'll ban Mick and every person to ever flame him. How's that? It's not about one person. It's about a whole lot of people.

I'm not sure if you guys will like this idea but it is more or less a extension from the paying a fee. Why not make a annual fee of 75 bucks or something and with this fee you get access to the forums, 2 cb7tuner stickers and a cb7 shirt with the persons screename on it somewere like on the sleeve. Like a personalized little membership package. A fee of that magnitude would definitely weed out the people who acctualy care about their car, and take tunning seriously- compared to the people that show up and don't give a shit. On the same token the $75 fee wouldn't feel over bearing due to the fact that you get all kinds of neat shit with the fee.

wow I have not been here in a long time just saw this thread, what CB7tuner.com needs is the old members to come back or start posting again most of them incuding myself left because this site was being trashed by, young or immature useres or people just posting shit not to mention repetative threads over and over if this keeps up CB7 will become just some more crap on the web

well.. 75 bucks is a little much, lol... and i don't know if i'd have time to create a package deal with decals and shirts. especially since the shirts are created/produced and sold by cafepress.com... so i have no real control over that.

but i was thinking more along the lines of $5/year to POST. you would still be able to view the board and stuff for free.. BUT in order to post and be a part of the community, you'd have to pay the annual fee. would any of you guys be willing to do that?

How do you figure? I am coming up with ideas and solutions other then complaining about the problem. I agree with deev! It is everybody as a whole. We have established that. Everyone just keeps on saying the same thing over and over and over....... instead of coming up with ideas.
