My car was totalled today

So on my way to the bank after work I was involved in a head on collision that totalled my car. I was turning left at an intersection when a car from the other direction colided with me. Technically im at fault because i didnt have the right of way. And to top things off i got a ticket for being at fault. I will get pics tomorrow when i go to get all my crap outta the car.

as for the ticket, i have been told by a police officer and a few people to back it up that if you take the ticket to court, they will drop it, since the officer was not there and didnt see it. They just write them to make extra money, and know that people will just assume they have to pay it... and 98% of people do.

i was in an accident just like that. i was in the passenger seat though. and they hit my side!! i was in an acura CL 2.3 and the airbags didnt even deploy...i went to the hospital and still suffer slightly from whiplash..just a sore neck every once and a while. but yeah unless you had a green arrow giving you the right of way you were making an unprotected left turn..YOUR FAULT. not to say they werent speeding and you couldnt see them . im sorry to hear bout your car i think thats three this past 5-7 days...dayam..think about the acident in your head and determine how long you waited and then take a look at where the car hit you. if you had some amount of room they would have hit your more towards the back of the car and it is their fault! if its more to the front from the laws point of view you didnt yield for long enough. hope youre okay though...

glad to hear everyone is alright. i just posted pics of my wrecked car under wreck in off topic i hit a pole going 35-40 mph i saw an accident just like yours but not as bad it sounds like stay safe and drive carefully i would hate to hear that someone died in one of these accidents.

man ohh man not to repeat it but everyones cars are going down quicker than you can blink...knock on wood....nothings happend with my car yet...whose next though...sorry to hear about your car though....at least your a stand up guy who can admit he was at fault....which takes a lot to do...hope things get better for you...
