Seriously, though, that interior! But I agree, black doesn't really suit the wagon.

I beg to differ. Although this is the next generation, . That black wagon is where it's at.

Best fifth-gen I've ever seen. Price isn't bad, either.

The first car I purchased (in 1978) was a triple black (paint, vinyl top, interior) 1971 Chevrolet Caprice coupe, 400 cu. in V8. Also had a triple black 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (BIG 4 door sedan). They looked great when clean and shiny, but they were impossible to keep that way.

Yeah, I meant the CB9 specifically. To my eye at least. I'm in love with that 5th gen.

                I got that.

To me, it's a rarity to see one of these, a black 4th generation wagon. I'd buy it, and when I'd be done with it, I'd have the board saying, "damn, that's the best 4th gen wagon I've ever seen." Especially with some 17x9s with a +25 offset HREs cleanly placed on the rear corners, yup, that'll be the consensus.

Everyone has their preference when it comes to options. Paint color is always one of the main hurdles for a lot of people.

200k+ miles on a 3-digit odometer. I always wondered how you'd figure out miles on cars like that when you can't track maintenance history. Beautiful car, though, looks well worth the price.

That's the trip odometer. The six digit (plus tenths) odometer is above the center of the speedometer. If you zoom in on the photo of the dash, it reads 200873. I'm old enough that the first cars I drove and owned still had 5 digit (plus tenths) odometers.

The assumption being that people weren't going to drive their cars passed 100k miles?

or that the car wouldn't survive past that

Probably some of both. Back in the day, a car with 100,000 miles was considered worn out. The first car I bought myself was in 1978; a 1971 Chevrolet Caprice with maybe 86,000 miles. If I remember correctly, I paid $1600 for it. I drove it past 100,000, then thought I couldn't feed it when gas it $1/gallon. Sold it to my cousin who managed to get T-boned in it.
