Busted radiator hose on the way in to work this morning. I recently cleaned out Ody in preparation for a project. And all I had in the van was an old very small roll of Gorilla tape. Drove 23 miles, including stopping at a local autoparts store to pick up a new hose and not a single drop. Mind you the hole wasnt very big only about a 1 inch slit. But I'm happy with the results and still made it in to work on time Going to change out the hose in the parking before I leave today.

Duct tape and zip ties fixes all :P hahaha.
I once drove with a radiator hose made out of a long plastic tube cut a couple times and tape.
It worked. got me home.
better start checking those hoses a bit more for softness and breakage huh? hahasold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

That's dope, Ti. Good thinking.
I use Gorilla tape to hide the electric chords on the floor of my house which connect all the speakers in every room.
Lots of speakers...everywhere.

everybody loves duct tape. they even have that high-stick heavy duty stuff. but if you want the duct tape to STICK LIKE ITS NEVER STUCK BEFORE, gorilla tape is the only answer. I usually find it more useful around the house rather than on the car, but this is a great testament to its reliability. It's kind of pricey, but they sell it in two different lengths - a big roll and a smaller/shorter one. i'm going to get one of the cheaper, shorter rolls to keep in the car now. this is awesome! thanks for sharing.Last edited by cp[mike]; 12-11-2015, 06:55 PM.
