The backup was able to save a lot of "Posts", but theres no "Threads" to group them together. I'm not sure if PMs were saved or not.

The data is impossible to be restored into an actual forum that you can browse, but I would be willing to load up all of the Posts into a database, sorted by who made them. I would imagine this would be a way of retrieving at least some of the data/posts, which could be copied and pasted into somewhere else.

Oh and I was just about to head there myself I been driving my dad CD as of late. That sucks that CD5 is gone, when it went down 5 or 6 years ago I thought you should have ported somewhere here with the same domain name (there is a way ) in the first place lol. Well lets hope we can bring that family feeling there since it's back here now!

I might still do that. I could just log in and redirect the domain name to the CD5tuner section of this site (and it still exists)
