Many of us on the board are not fortunate enough to go all out and build our dream car in one short shot. For most of us, a full project can take anywhere from a year or two to never being completed.
Given the time, energy, resources, and dedication, what project would you tackle (ie. garage rent free, all tools needed for build minus welding equipment/paint equipment unless you have access to it). I'm speaking of taking a car you always dreamed for, never had the chance to own, but now have the means to buy the car/chassis/roller/someone else's project/etc.
Given a budget of $2713.67 (random low figure number) to start, what would you go and buy to start a full build, and what would be your end goals?
Rules: It has to be something that is obtainable here in the U.S. or a vehicle that can be legally imported. You have to acquire a title for the vehicle upon purchase. Pictures/links of car should be found for reference (Autotrader, Cars, TraderClassics, Craigslist, Ebay, etc.). Should be a realistic obtainable purchase.
I'll start.
