    Just saw this on TV and had to rant to others about it...

    Kids love Tablets.

    However with a video right in front of you of a kid picking a tablet up, no-one can seriously take that the wrong way.

              The time limits are set for 5 and 6 hours.
              MRT
              37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
              30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
              27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

                  If I was in the middle of a game and it suddenly said "that's all for today" I would be pissed. I would throw it on the ground!

                  Actually, I expect kids will very quickly figure out how to bypass that. Technology is no replacement for parenting.

                    the time limit for "reading a book" was set for 4 or 5 hours, while the time for watching videos got set down to 45 mins. when I was younger, I read ALL THE TIME. If i latched onto a book, I'd spend every hour I could reading it. While I would rather them read actual paper books, and this is still just another screen to look at, I have no problem at all with kids reading for hours on end.

                      Agreed. Kids should read as much as possible. Of course, if they don't ever go play with friends outside, they're going to end up being pasty social invalids!
