My prayers and regards for your CB7 brother. I know all about the GF problems for sure and she (the GF) should be the last thing your worry about right now. I know for a fact things will get better man. Keep your head up and drive on. That right there is the best thing you can do right now. Take care, things will get better.
Do you really need to make a thread asking if having your car like this /---\ will cause uneven tire wear? Try walking like that for a few weeks and see if your shoes wear funny! (hint: they will.)
So sorry to hear about your sister.I cant imagine the shock and pain.I send my condolences to you as well as your family. Please keep your head up not just during this time but always.
Yesterday was a rough day. We went to the scene and placed a huge cross that her friend built and cemented it in the ground so its not going anywhere. It's really heavy being there but it's the only place I can go to feel close to her. I've found parts of her car that can be really hard to handle seeing but I want to keep whatever I can find of it so I have them all in my trunk. We're waiting for the cops to be done with looking through it so we can see it and go through it. We're having a candlelight/balloon release tonight at the park, then we have her service on Friday. I keep waiting for her to walk out of the bushes and trees whenever I sit out there and say it was all just a cruel joke but I always come back to reality. I might post a pic of her cross just so everyone else can see where she was and where I go to be near her and you guys can be there with me too. You guys are amazing.
no matter what the cause was, its not your fault man, but once you do you have the power to do something about it, maybe it was a car part, maybe it was driver error, maybe it was her state of mind
whatever it is, find out and do something about this
i have a little brother and though i havent seen him in years i would also feel this way if it happened to me
make sure she aint forgotten
may she rest in peace and may God help you on this journey my friend
although we dont know you, we know you're a CB enthusiasts and we take this as family

There's no way she could ever be forgotten. Even though I moved with in with my dad and we were apart we never lost how close all three of us kids were. Do both me and you a favor though, if there's any way you can see him do it because like you said you'll be like this too. Just tell him how you feel so if God forbid anything do happen you both have that to remember. I don't and I could never feel more pain over it.
Yeah I've been up here since Tuesday. Today was the last day we got to sit with her at the funeral home and talk to her and share stories before she was cremated. Sometime this weekend I think we're all going and getting tattoos and what not so yeah....Rough rough day.
I'm sorry for your loss, I know your pain I lost my 4 year old son in a car accident back in 07'. It felt like bad dream as if it wasn't real. It will take some time but keep your head up.
I just wanted to say thanks for all those that have responded to this and kept my family in your thoughts and even those that didn't reply. This has been the hardest week of my life and it still doesn't seem like its over. Days seem like forever now. I spent all last week and the last few days with my family. On top of this I broke up with my girlfriend and I had to go back to school today so its a lot to try and take it. I got to say goodbye to my sister in person and got to see the car and incredibly found some of her belongings still unburnt that seem impossible such as stamps and money which if you saw the car would understand why its so amazing. So as hard as its been its been uplifting to have some things happen. I don't know if I said this earlier but her principle called and they're going to graduate her which I've never been more happy in my life than when I heard that so me and my brother are going to walk the stage and get her diploma for her. But anyways this will never be over but I just wanted to thank everyone again for the help and thoughts this last week, you'll never know how much I appreciate it.
That's amazing news about her school. That will make your parents incredibly proud and will bring memories to everyone at school she was able to affect. I'm glad you got to see her and I'll continue to pray for you and your family as you continue to go through this process.
Keep your head up, bud.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
I grew up an only child raised by a single mom. She was my mom, dad, sister, everything. When I lost my mother at 23 to lung cancer (41 years of smoking), I lost my world and I was all alone. Also lost my grandmother a year after her, and my grandfather two years before her. Trust me, loss is unbearable.
But with the support of good people around you, I also learned that those who passed on wouldn't want you to suffer forever. They would want you to grow stronger and celebrate the good times of life and not the bad. I'm very sure that your sister would agree...
