1997 Ford Explorer V-6 AT (what a piece of junk)
1993 Nissan Sentra M/T (front end damage, off road for now)
1999 Mercury Mountaineer V-8 A/T - RIP (rolled: totaled)
1992 Honda Accord A/T EX - RIP (transmission shot: sold to junkyard)
One of the best pranks I've seen in quite some time.
MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit
jalopnik is calling it out as fake, but fairly effective "viral" advertising.

they were saying that it has v8 sounds dubbed in over a v6 camaro, and there "just so happens to be" a cheap clip on cupholder in the exact spot a camera would need to be. still funny though.

The liability side of it shows that NOBODY was at risk, and the only car that WAS-WAS obviously offended in a way that Pepsi/Chevy would never condone.
Just saying, legally, they could NEVER be so careless among the population/in traffic. So it was a "Closed course" and arranged situation.
I agree though, great way for viral marketing.
Plus, when I test drove the SS I noticed it has a traction system that you have to turn off if you are really trying to break the tires loose. Seriously. Not possible, and at the push of a button the guy in the passenger seat would've been able to stop it-which any dealer would have.

I don't really care if it's fake/set up in advance, or real. I had not laughed that hard in a long time. I needed a good laugh. Thank you OP for posting it.
