    Which motor?
If it's the F22 that's just like ours I'd pull it and other useful things if he does send it to scrap.
    MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Lots of DIY videos specifically for our car

Get some awesome wipers! <-- It's a DIY

Now you are onto something. If he sends it to the crusher it will hardly effect the payout if the engine/trans and whatever else you wanted to swipe were missing.

Maybe he would let you have that shit for free.

Do what I offered to one of my friends:
Engine weighs ~150 lbs. Trans is ~90 lbs.
Call up the junkyard and see what they pay per pound. Offer that for the engine.
Also, concrete bags in the trunk.....

Now filling the gas tank with sand/water is a whole other story.

I've never taken a car to the junkyard, so I don't know. IIRC it was sarcastically said by one of my friends a while back.
You could probably fill the spare tire well as well.

                From my understanding:
                F22a, F22b (Maybe B? It has VTEC), and a V6.

The F22a parts work on our cars. I pulled a distributor from one. It's been on my car for almost a year.

the CD5 has F22B1 or F22B2 for 4 cylinder models.

F22B1 is VTEC, and F22B2 is not.

None of the F22Bx are very good "performance" motors. They are perfectly fine engines.

F22A's arent very good performance motors either unless you turbo them right? and its a 4 silly, pretty sure its non vtec. ill have to check.
